Melissa Packard

Director of Finance

Ms. Packard has over ten years of experience in finance and accounting primarily focused in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Fidelity Biosciences in September 2008, Ms. Packard served as Vice President of Finance at ActivBiotics Inc, a private, development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of antibacterials for chronic and infectious diseases. Ms. Packard previously served as Corporate Controller and Director of Financial Reporting at Harvard Bioscience, a global, publicly-held company that develops and manufactures scientific instruments and devices used to accelerate drug discovery research. Prior to joining Harvard Bioscience, Ms. Packard was the Director of Finance at Aquila Biopharmaceuticals.

Ms. Packard received a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts.
